Notre Dame Cathedral

Vietnam Tourist Information and Travel Guide

Notre Dame Cathedral is the lovely 19th-century basilica located at the north end of Dong Choi Street.  Completed in 1880, the building was one the tallest in Saigon.

The cathedral was built of quarried stone and the red roof was imported from Paris.  A statue of the Virgin Mary stands directly in front of the cathedral.
